This year I turn 40 and this is what I want: I want to revisit relationships with people who were an important part of making me who I am today, and I want to reach out to my heroes and people I find inspiring. I want to make face-to-face connections with people by sharing a meal, telling a few stories, laughing and saying thank you.
And I want to introduce these people to you, because they all have their own stories to share.
So for the next year I am going to take 40 people out to lunch: people who helped shape the first 40 years and people who I hope will inspire the next 40. People who are unique, political, creative, encouraging, brave, insightful, adventurous and bad ass.
Join me as I celebrate 40 years, one meal at a time.
